Else Kröner Exzellenzstipendien, Bewerbungsfrist: 19/08/2024
Die Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung möchte herausragend in Klinik und Forschung qualifizierte Ärzt:innen unterstützen, durch eine zweijährige Freistellung von klinischen Aufgaben ein besonders erfolgversprechendes und für sie profilbildendes medizinisches Forschungsvorhaben signifikant weiterzubringen. Damit soll vor allem Oberärzt:innen die Qualifizierung für die Berufung auf eine Professur im Sinne eines Clinician Scientist ermöglicht werden. Dazu schreibt die Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung auf dem gesamten Gebiet der Medizin bis zu sechs Individualstipendien mit einer Laufzeit von zwei Jahren für Ärzt:innen nach Abschluss der Weiterbildung zum Facharzt aus. DFG/Fraunhofer-Kooperation, Trilaterale Erkenntnistransferprojekte, erste Antragsstufe: 17/09/2024
Mit dieser Ausschreibung soll die Verknüpfung geeigneter komplementärer Partner aus dem Wissenschafts- und Anwendungsbereich gefördert werden, um eine bessere Überführung von Erkenntnissen aus der Grundlagenforschung in die Anwendung zu ermöglichen. Anträge für trilaterale Transferprojekte unter dieser Ausschreibung benötigen einen Partner aus einer Universität/HAW/FH (DFG-finanziert), einen Fraunhofer-Partner (Fraunhofer-finanziert) und einen Anwendungspartner (eigenfinanziert). Von den bis zu 3 Millionen Euro pro Ausschreibung die DFG und Fraunhofer jeweils zur Verfügung stellen, sollen fünf bis acht Transferprojekte gefördert werden. Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) JU Call 8 open, Deadline: 10/10/2024
IHI is a private-public partnership offering funding for health research and innovation for projects including both academic and industry partners. There are four topics for IHI call 8: 1) A city-based approach to reducing cardiovascular mortality in Europe; 2 ) Novel endpoints for osteoarthritis (OA) by applying big data analytics; 3) Modelling regulatory sandbox mechanisms and enabling their deployment to support breakthrough innovation ; 4) Patient-centred clinical-study endpoints derived using digital health technologies. „GO-Bio next“, Bewerbungsfrist der ersten Antragsstufe: 15/09/2024 Gefördert werden Gründungsteams aus der Wissenschaft, die innovative FuE-Ansätze im Bereich der Lebenswissenschaften mit hohem Kommerzialisierungspotenzial vorantreiben und bis zu einem Reifegrad entwickeln, der eine erfolgreiche Ausgründung ermöglicht. Die Vorhaben sollen einen hohen Bedarf in den Lebenswissenschaften adressieren und sich dadurch auszeichnen, dass sie aufgrund der oben beschriebenen Verwertungsrisiken nicht ohne öffentliche Förderung umgesetzt werden können. The next Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF) call will open on 23 April 2024. Postdoctoral Fellowships target researchers who wish to carry out their research activities abroad. To be eligible, researchers must hold a PhD and have a maximum of 8 years‘ research experience since completion (extensions can be made under certain conditions). The funding provides a contribution towards salary costs of the researcher in addition to research, training and networking costs and overall management of the project. Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Networks support international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral doctoral training programmes designed to train highly skilled doctoral candidates. A consortium must consist of at least three independent partners from three different EU Member States or Associated Countries. This call aims to encourage outstanding researchers to conduct interdisciplinary and innovative projects. The call is open to all scientific disciplines and research topics that allow an interdisciplinary approach. A high degree of innovation and a high risk are seen as the most relevant requirements for proposals. European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST), Deadline: 23/10/24
COST actions offer networking opportunities for innovative research activities in Europe in topics that can be freely chosen. Financing does not cover direct research activities, but networking activities such as workshops, conferences, short scientific exchange, and training schools. To be eligible, a consortium needs to be comprised of at least seven COST members or cooperating members, at least 50% of which need to be from “Inclusiveness Target Countries”.
