CAMINO Advanced Clinician Scientist Program (Dresden)

Dear Clinician Scientists,

The 3rd call for applications for the BMBF-funded Advanced Clinician Scientist Program CAMINO (Career Advancements in MultIdimeNsional TumOr Targeting) at the Faculty of Medicine Carl Gustav Carus of TU Dresden is now open. If you are a Clinician Scientist with an established research profile in translational oncology, we look forward to receiving your application!

We are looking for: An advanced medical doctor - with completed specialized medical training (Facharzt) and habilitation (or habilitation equivalent) - with an established independent research profile - with a proven track record of outstanding research performance and expertise in an area relevant to the CAMINO Research Pipelines

CAMINO offers - a Clinician Scientist position for up to 6 years with 50% protected research time and funding for personnel, consumables, travel and animal costs (up to €130,000 per year in total) - mentoring and career training opportunities - the chance to form research alliances with experts on campus - the option for two Advanced Clinician Scientists from the same institution/specialisation to apply as a tandem - retreats, symposia and meet-ups for interaction and networking in the Dresden biomedical campus
