In the interdisciplinary tumor board of the Hubertus Wald Tumor Center, specialists from medical disciplines responsible for the diagnostics and treatment of cancer patients work together. In all patients with a tumor disease, diagnostic evaluation and individual treatment strategies are discussed and recommended by the panel of participating medical specialists according to the patient’s medical history and findings in the course of therapy.

The basis for recommendations are standardized treatment guidelines developed and regularly updated by interdisciplinary working groups (Task Forces) of the Hubertus Wald Tumor Center for each tumor entity. It will also be decided here, whether a treatment qualifies within the framework of a modern clinical trial.

Our goal is the best possible care of cancer patients under the specification of a unified approach according to internationally recognized and on the highest level of scientific updated guidelines.
