Holistic Therapeutic Concept

We don't consider the bone by itself but rather the whole musculoskeletal system as a unit. During your treatment we collaborate with specialists from diverese fields of our academic environment. Thus we make sure that you will receive the high-end medical care of the UKE, that includes medical diagnosis involving the most advanced techniques, such as Xtreme-CT, as well as the planning and realisation of your personal therapy. Our treatment recommendations are regularily certified by the German association of osteology (DVO).

Worldwide Recognized Research

With the aim of keeping you in good health, we investigate the causes of disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Our results are recognized throughout the world and are considered to be internationally of highest relevance in certain areas. Of course the most recent developments and findings are influencing your therapy. Our Department provides the only professorship for osteology and biomechanics at a German university.
